Wade Eagle – Bio
Wade Eagle is a Canadian-born singer-songwriter and horseman based in Phoenix, Arizona.
Originally from Scarborough and raised across Quebec and Ontario, Wade relocated to the U.S. seven years ago in search of healing and never looked back. Rooted in deep personal loss and transformation, his music is raw, heartfelt, and emotionally unfiltered. What began as a private return to guitar following the passing of his daughter has since evolved into a powerful creative journey fueled by grief, resilience, and rediscovered purpose.
A Self-Described “rock-and-roll cowboy”
Wade wears his influences on his sleeve, from Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath to Juice Newton, Joe Walsh, and George Thorogood. He embraces both grit and sentiment, equally at home with blues riffs or cheesy love songs. His emotional honesty and lived experience resonate deeply with listeners, and his performances, often at open mics or intimate shows with musical collaborators like Kenny Richards and Will Kuhn, are rooted in connection over perfection.
In September, Wade will take the stage as an opening act at a two-day rock festival in Germany, marking an exciting new chapter. But at the heart of it all, his mission remains the same: to tell stories that heal, express, and move, offering solace to others through the strength he’s found in unlikely places.
Wade’s passion for horses predates his music
After surviving a serious injury in Canada, it was a horse that helped him rebuild, physically and spiritually. Now, he gives back by working with injured and traumatized horses, forging quiet, healing partnerships that mirror his own recovery. Horses remain his grounding force, often guiding his emotions just as his songs do.
Though he never expected to pursue music again, encouragement from a friend led him to pick up the guitar once more, and he began writing as a means of release. What came out surprised even him: a mix of blues, rock, folk, and tender ballads, written without concern for genre, only authenticity. Whether he's channeling heartbreak, healing, or humor, Wade writes from the core, building songs around his voice rather than traditional structure.
